Welcome to Karam Restaurant! The Karam family members have been established entrepreneurs in Portland, Oregon for over 15 years beginning with Long Island Pizzeria in 1988. We eventually changed our name to Long Island Cafe adding a variety of traditional Lebanese dishes to our menu. We now have expanded our location to offer an even broader menu, featuring our delicious Lebanese cuisine in a more intimate setting. Thus, Karam Restaurant is born.

Karam is literally translated to mean “generous”, a spirit and tradition which has been passed down in our family from generation to generation. We look forward to making your dinning experience an enjoyable and relaxing one. We will endeavor to serve you in the same spirit of generosity passed down by the Karam family throughout the centuries.

All our food is made fresh daily from scratch including our fresh pita bread, pizza with New York garlic sauce, falafel and lamb specialty.

In 2011 the Karam family's niece Majdolin and her husband Wadie Khouri purchased the restaurant. Majdolin and Wadi will carry on the same traditional recipes passed down from Majdolin's grandmother to all the women in the family.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Don’t forget the great quality desserts we prepare here.

Thank you all.
